Exciting Grant Award: £50,000 NCS Trust Funding to Support AutismAble’s Youth Development
1st September 2023 Announcements, FundingWe are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a grant of up to £50,000 over the next two years from the NCS Trust. This generous funding is part of a broader initiative by the NCS Trust, which is investing significantly in community-based experiences to benefit young people across the UK.
The NCS Trust’s new focus aims to provide more local opportunities for teenagers aged 16-17, complementing their existing residential programmes. These community-based activities will enable young people to develop essential skills, deepen their understanding of their local communities, and empower them to contribute positively to their improvement.
In addition to supporting broader youth engagement, the grants are designed to reach specific groups of young people who may not have previously participated in NCS initiatives. We are particularly proud to share that our targeted grant will also extend support to individuals aged 18-25, who have a valid Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) through our AutismAble programme.
This funding marks an exciting new chapter for us, and we are eager to expand our offerings to create even more meaningful and inclusive experiences for young people. We look forward to working closely with the NCS Trust to bring these initiatives to life and make a lasting impact on our community.
Stay tuned for updates on how we will be using this grant to benefit the young people we serve.
