Admissions
It can sometimes take a while to secure funding, so we really do encourage you to come and visit as early as possible. Our friendly Service Team Manager will be happy to show you around, giving you a chance to learn more about everything we offer.

Referrals
Referrals can be made by parents, carers, social workers and other professionals. Self-referrals are also welcome.
Make a referralOur referral process
Just as you need to get to know us, we also take the time to get to know you so we can provide the best experience possible.
First, we’ll meet with you to learn all about your life, interests, and aspirations. Parents and carers are more than welcome to come too.
Next, you’ll be invited to join us for three half-day taster sessions. This is a great opportunity for you to experience our service, meet our team and group members, and decide if our service feels right for you.
Once your funding is approved, we’ll arrange a home visit to complete the referral process and confirm your start date.
Funding
Our service can be funded via Direct Payments or Commissioned Care Packages following an assessment of need by a social worker or the NHS. If Direct Payments are not an option, self-funding routes are also available.
We work with funding authorities across South Tyneside and Sunderland. We can help and advise you throughout the process.
