Big Lottery Success for AutismAble Students
AutismAble have been successful in gaining Big Lottery funding for our Lab Kitchen project.
The project has been granted £26,150 and will run over 18 months.
The Lab Kitchen will reach 25 young people with Autism, allowing them to gain work
experience, increase their employability, communication and relationship skills.
We will also reach a large amount of older people at risk of isolation of which we will look to engage their expertise and experience as volunteers for the kitchen.
The Lab Kitchen will double as a public cafe / meeting space to local community organisations and using our own home grown organic vegetables, will provide produce for local businesses including the SeaChange Cafe
The Lab Kitchen will be open for business to the public from January 2020 so please check back for updates on this.
