Casual Learning Support Assistant (Term-Time)
AutismAble CIC are looking for a learning Support Assistant to join our casual staff rota to support adult learners aged 19 and over who have Autism or Learning Difficulties.
You will be working closely with the tutor and learner to support their educational needs and achieve the outcomes set out in their Individual Support Plan.
Hours can vary between 4 and 16 hours per week and are subject to learning support applications being agreed by funders.
The successful candidate must :
• Be kind and calm with an approachable manner
• Be able to relate well to young people and adults with a wide range of SEN, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties
• Have prior experience of working with people with additional educational needs.
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills: to support functional skills English & Math’s and GCSE qualifications.
• Hold a teaching Assistant Qualification attained at a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent, or be working towards this.

Casual Digital Media Tutor (Term-Time)
AutismAble CIC are looking for a digital media tutor to join our casual staff rota to teach learners aged 16 and over who have Autism or Learning Difficulties.
You will be working closely with the Education Manager and learning support team to deliver digital media lessons and to support learners to achieve the outcomes set out in their Individual Support Plans.
Hours can vary between 4 and 16 hours per week and are subject to learning support applications being agreed by funders.
The successful candidate must :
• Be kind and calm with an approachable manner
• Be able to relate well to young people and adults with a wide range of SEN, Emotional and Be havioural difficulties
• Be competent in delivering elements of the digital media curriculum including video & film production and design for web and print .The ability to teach audio production and basic games design would be desirable.
• Be flexible, as on occasion they will be required to attend important team meetings regarding student EHCP and support plan matters.
• Hold a teaching Qualification attained at a minimum of Level 4 or equivalent, or be working towards this.
