About our team, our expertise, our outcomes

Our team has an extensive background in specialist education and community work, and we endeavour to ensure our staff are well prepared and trained to give the best teaching, advice and provision they can.

At the top of our organisation we have a governing board made up of Adults with Autism,  Business Advisors, Education Professionals, Project Mentors, and Parents of people with Autism, who help guide, shape and advise on how we develop our provision. – this ensures that a) people with Autism are at the very heart of our organisation and that b) our business strategy is sustainable, effectively manages risk , and prioritises the needs of those with Autism.

All of our staff all have qualifications in supporting people with Autism and Learning Disabilities which includes training in delivering Low Arousal teaching to people with Autism and associated conditions. We ensure that all Tutors are qualified to level 5 and have received a minimum of grade 2 teaching observation. Our Information Advice and Guidance is assessed and delivered to the industry-standard Matrix-Accredited guidelines.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, 26 learners on our full time Business Admin and Digital Skills pathways achieved a 100% pass rate, with 100% moving on to either further study, employment or into traineeships or internships. Of these, 92% of learners agreed that Autism Able stretches and challenges them and 96% of parents agreed that their child was making good progress with us.
