Join us on Thursday 4th of August for our first AutismAble Open Day of the year. You’ll have the opportunity to tour our fantastic facilities and meet our current young learners and staff who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
As this is our first open day of the year, we anticipate this event will be very popular, so we kindly ask all visitors to book a free ticket via Event Brite in advance. Tickets are bookable here.
Throughout the day, we’ll host a series of fun-filled workshops and activities so you can experience AutismAble for yourself and see all we offer. These include tech and gaming, sports, cooking, arts & crafts, music, gardening and more.
To help you plan your visit, here’s a quick rundown of the day and what to expect:
Welcome and arrival
The day will run from 10 am to 2 pm, although you are welcome to arrive at any time. We recommend arriving as early as possible to get the most out of the day.
Our open day is at Westoe Crown Community Hub, South Shields. The full address for the event is:

Free parking is available outside Westoe Crown Community Hub. There is also plenty of street parking available along Sea Winnings Way.
What to do when you arrive
Simply look out for our friendly staff member and young person who will be waiting to greet you at the door and help you sign in.
