We are proud to share that AutismAble’s learner-centred ‘baseline assessment’ for learners with autism has been included on the Education & Training Foundation’s Excellence Gateway.

The baseline assessment was devised out of the Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment Project in collaboration with the Education & Training Foundation and South Tyneside Council.

The purpose of the research  was to develop initial assessment processes that  are better tailored to individual needs.

The outcomes that have been included on the Education and Training Foundation’s Excellence Gateway  include ‘Good Practice Guidelines’ for tutors’ induction and our learner-centred ‘baseline assessment’ for learners with autism.
