ExpressionAble pathway

At AutismAble, we are passionate about empowering our members to express themselves freely and develop their creative skills in the areas they love.

We encourage our members to take ownership of their learning, build confidence through performing, make decisions, gain new skills, and develop friendships. Throughout the year, members also have the opportunity to showcase their talents to the public — whether on stage or behind the scenes.

We’re proud to be an approved Arts Award Delivery Centre through Trinity College, London, and to have access to a network of industry professionals at our fingertips to enrich our creative programme.

Activities include:

  • Music
  • Art
  • Media
  • Filmmaking
  • Photography
  • Digital Skills
  • Drama
  • Writing
  • Podcasting
  • Animation

What our current members say

  • “I feel like I have gained confidence since coming to AutismAble. It has helped me make friends and build my life skills”

    Scott
  • I came to AutismAble to develop my English and Maths skills. By attending and developing these skills, it has helped me pass my driving test and feel more confident in life. I started volunteering at SeaChange Cafe in 2019 and gained lots of customer service skills and confidence, and it led me to now being a part-time member of staff and also a board member”
