Usually, our Success Stories are all about celebrating the incredible achievements of our group members – the journeys they’ve taken, the challenges they’re overcoming, and the futures they’re building for themselves.

But today, we’re making a small exception because AutismAble has been nominated for a 2025 #LoveSouthTyneside Award!

What is a #LoveSouthTyneside Award?

#LoveSouthTyneside celebrates the fantastic contributions of “unsung heroes”. The individuals and organisations making a real difference in people’s lives across South Tyneside.

Although we didn’t win this time, being nominated for our “contribution to life in South Tyneside” means so much to us because it reflects the heart of what we do every day.

Why it Matters

Our mission is simple: to enable, empower, and enrich. But this work doesn’t happen in isolation.

It happens in sessions, Sea Change, social clubs, community events, home support and quiet conversations. It happens when people feel seen and supported. And it happens because of the people who show up every day to make a difference – our team, funders, supporters, and most importantly, our group members.

This nomination is for everyone who makes AutismAble what it is.
