Join us in celebrating a fantastic achievement from our incredible team at AutismAble! On Friday, 17th March, our Community Involvement members and staff laced up their walking shoes and embarked on a 2-mile sponsored walk to raise money for Comic Relief.
The challenging circuit was no walk in the park, taking place around South Shields Beach and starting and ending at our Westoe Crown Community Hub. Despite the unpredictable weather, the team came together and walked an impressive 24 miles collectively, proving that their commitment to this wonderful cause knows no bounds.
We’re thrilled to announce that our team’s hard work and determination paid off, as they managed to raise an outstanding £180 for Comic Relief. This money will go towards supporting incredible projects and organisations across the UK and worldwide, helping to tackle critical issues such as mental health problems, food poverty, and homelessness.
At AutismAble, we understand the importance of supporting the causes that are close to our hearts, and Comic Relief is no exception. Our members, staff, and parents/carers were all incredibly passionate about making a difference and contributing to the event. We’re incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who supported us and made generous donations.
So, from everyone here at AutismAble, thank you for your support and for helping us make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
